About the role
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in packaging equipment, production lines, and plant layouts. The role will support equipment integration, packaging process improvements, and 3D plant design coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and support packaging equipment from fillers through secondary packaging and EOL systems. Support palletizing and automated packaging operations. Coordinate with equipment vendors and support equipment modifications/changeovers. Develop and modify packaging line layouts using AutoCAD.Coordinate 3D models within the overall plant design. Review equipment placement, layout impacts, utilities, and integration requirements. Support packaging process improvements and equipment installation.
Required Qualifications:
B.E./B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5–10+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience. Hands-on experience with packaging equipment and manufacturing/production lines. Strong AutoCAD experience with equipment/layout drawings. Experience with equipment integration and vendor coordination.
