About the role

SHR Talent is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Pleasant Prairie, WI to hire an experienced HR Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who enjoys working closely with both employees and leadership and can effectively manage a broad range of HR responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day Human Resources operations and serve as a key HR partner to employees and leadership. Manage employee relations, performance management, coaching, and workplace issues. Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws. Partner with leadership to promote accountability and consistency across the organization. Support workplace safety initiatives and OSHA compliance. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee engagement, and overall workforce effectiveness. Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications: 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR management experience. Fluency in Spanish required. Previous management experience required. Manufacturing experience strongly preferred; food manufacturing experience is a plus. Knowledge of Wisconsin and Illinois employment laws. Strong understanding of HR compliance and hiring practices. Safety and OSHA experience. Strong communication, employee relations, and problem-solving skills. Confident and assertive leadership style with the ability to navigate challenging situations and hold others accountable. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred. Local candidates preferred.
