Job Description: Montclair Tutoring is seeking a part-time High School Level Math Tutor to join its growing team of one-on-one STEM and test prep tutors. The tutor will provide individualized instruction and support in high school mathematics, and standardized test preparation.
Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one instruction in high school mathematics. Support students with Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. Assist students with homework and reinforce classroom learning. Prepare students for SAT and ACT Mathematics. Support individualized test preparation plans.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Knowledge of Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. Knowledge of SAT/ACT Mathematics.
Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience tutoring high school mathematics. Ability to support reading and writing instruction. Knowledge of Calculus. \nCompany
