About the role

Interested in building modern software, owning meaningful technical decisions, and putting AI to work in real products? The focus is on hands-on builders who care about architecture, product quality, and the impact of what they ship. The work• Design, build, and support scalable applications, APIs, and backend services.• Own features from initial design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.• Partner with product teams and business stakeholders to turn complex needs into practical solutions.• Improve platform performance, reliability, security, and engineering practices.• Apply AI-assisted development tools and, where relevant, build AI-powered features and workflows.• Contribute to architectural decisions, review code, and mentor fellow engineers. The background• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production applications.• Strong experience in a modern development stack, such as Type Script/Java Script, Node.js, Python, or C#/.NET.• Frontend experience with React, Next.js, or Vue, or deep backend expertise with the ability to contribute across the stack.• Experience with cloud platforms, SQL databases, APIs, automated testing, and CI/CD.• Sound technical judgment and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with others.• Curiosity about AI and how it can improve both software development and the products being built. Experience that stands out Hands-on work with LLM integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, model evaluation, or enterprise automation. Familiarity with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Git Hub Copilot, or MCP integrations is also valuable. You don’t need experience with every technology listed. Depth in your core stack, strong engineering fundamentals, and ownership of shipped work matter most. The specific stack, AI focus, and work arrangement will depend on the team matched to your background and interests. Interested? Send me your resume or a quick message with your primary stack, location, and what you’d like to build next. Let’s schedule a conversation.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
