About the role
Summary:
Hope Power & Industrial Inc. is a specialty manpower resource provider to contractors, industrial facilities, and power generation plants. Our customer is a first-class specialty fabrication facility located in Piedmont, SC with immediate opening for shop helpers / driver. These opportunities are for temp to hire positions
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and produce to customers specifications while using job work orders and blueprints.
- Operate power tools such as grinders and drill press
- Proficient in assigned welding techniques
- Ability to read calipers and tape measures
- Working knowledge of the metric system
- Knowledge of welding symbols
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Safety and housekeeping
- Other duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in welding (required)
- Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing (preferred)
