What You’ll Be Doing:
Shape regional and site mine planning across four operations, developing practical plans, schedules and a clear view of long-term reserves. Be the trusted technical resource for site engineers and operating teams, raising planning standards and leading through expertise and influence. Turn geological, survey, operational and cost data into safe, practical and economically sound mine designs and investment recommendations. Get out on site, build strong relationships and identify opportunities to improve performance alongside regional and operational leaders.
What You’ll Bring:
Strong surface mining experience, with proven ownership of mine planning and a broad grounding in mine engineering. A relevant engineering, mining, geology or technical degree, or equivalent proven industry experience. Practical knowledge of production, blasting, mine design and technical analysis, with the judgement to turn engineering principles into workable solutions. The confidence to influence stakeholders, communicate clearly and lead technical activity independently across multiple locations.
