Interested in learning how small businesses obtain funding and how business plans and financial projections are developed. Be an excellent communicator with both verbal and written skills. Be a self-starter. Enjoy working with people from all backgrounds and be able to keep information confidential.You Will Work: We will plan some of the projects around your internship. You will be expected to write a sample business plan. Assist in providing advice to small business owners in areas including marketing, management, budgeting, personnel, and financing, Research and develop sample business plans designed for particular industries (i.e, restaurants, medical practices, child development centers, retail stores, landscapers). Business research for clients, review business plans, sit in client meetings and develop tools as requested. Develop step-by-step e-commerce and social media training documents for advisors and clientsAbout Us: Our mission is to foster small business success in San Antonio and surrounding counties. We help entrepreneurs in Bexar and surrounding counties start and grow their small businesses. We offer no-cost, one-on-one, confidential business advising and various low- to no cost quality training programs. We are funded by the Small Business Administration and the State of Texas.
