Overview: OSF HealthCare Saint Katharine Medical Center is seeking a motivated and collaborative Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery team in Dixon, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons in a well-established practice while providing high-quality, patient-centered musculoskeletal care.

Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic patients in outpatient and inpatient settingsAssist orthopedic surgeons in the operating roomConduct pre-operative and post-operative assessmentsDevelop treatment plans and provide patient educationOrder and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studiesPerform procedures within scope of practiceCollaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams
Qualifications: QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programNCCPA certification requiredIllinois PA license (or eligibility to obtain) Orthopedic experience preferred, but new graduates with orthopedic rotations will be consideredStrong communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skillsOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
