About the role

Oakton College's Art Department is seeking an Lab Assistant Student Employee to monitor the ceramics, 2D/3D Design and Drawing/Painting studios during open studio times. You will mix clay and glazes, load and unload gas and electric kilns, assist with special projects and exhibitions, and provide friendly customer service to students. The role emphasizes safety, organization, and support for classes while allowing homework time when feasible.
