St. Thomas is a Federally Qualified Health Center focusing on providing care to those with limited healthcare options. For 33 years we have been providing high-quality, affordable, comprehensive health care in New Orleans, regardless of ability to pay. We have 8 locations in the New Orleans area, and our own in-house pharmacy. Two newly constructed sites, one on the eastbank and one on the westbank, will be opening early 2023. In addition to comprehensive primary care, we also provide specialty care in Cardiology, (including via a dedicated Cardiac CT Scan), Infectious diseases, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, Gastroenterology, Women's health, and Optometry. A central part of our culture is that we are aware of long-standing disparities in health care and are conscious of their impact. Application Requirements A complete cover letter that serves as an example of your writing and addresses how you meet all the required qualifications specific to the position you are applying for. Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
