About the role
- Assist with grant administration and ongoing departmental projects.* Support recurring financial and program reconciliations.* Assist with compliance audits and related documentation.* Compile, organize, and analyze financial and program data.* Develop and maintain spreadsheets, tracking tools, and reports.* Assist with program analysis and research assignments.* Prepare presentations, memos, reports, and other business materials.* Support project tracking and monitor activities, deadlines, and deliverables.* Collaborate with staff on daily, monthly, and quarterly departmental processes and special projects.
- Currently enrolled full-time as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior at a four-year college or university and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, economics, or a related field.* Strong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills.* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial and program information.* Effective written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.* A collaborative, dependable, and motivated individual with an interest in learning about public-sector finance, grants, compliance, and program administration.
