Role Description:
The Heating Air Conditioning installer will perform full-time, on-site work in Louisville, KY diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Daily responsibilities woikd be insing sheetmetal and equipment. while maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to company policies and local codes. The technician will collaborate with team members, keep service vehicles and tools organized, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with HVAC technologies and regulations.
Qualifications:
Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and provide courteous, professional service. Proficient Troubleshooting skills for identifying HVAC mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues and determining effective solutions. Knowledge of EPA regulations with current EPA certification (or eligibility to obtain) for safe handling of refrigerants. Experience in Maintenance & Repair of heating and cooling systems, including diagnosing faults, replacing components, and verifying proper operation. Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, filter changes, and performance checks to reduce breakdowns. Basic understanding of HVAC principles, electrical fundamentals, and mechanical systems; ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in HVAC or related field preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel locally for service calls. Capability to lift and move equipment, work in varied indoor and outdoor environments, and follow all safety procedures. Previous experience as an HVAC service technician or apprentice is preferred; willingness to pursue certifications and continuing education is beneficial.
