We are making history in Kansas City and desire like-minded, high energy, driven individuals to join us on our journey.Who Are We Hiring?The Vice President, Ticket Sales and Service is responsible for leading the strategic direction and operational execution of all ticket sales and service initiatives as well as all publicly ticketed events. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales management, customer service excellence, and team leadership. The VP will work closely with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue, enhance customer experience, and drive overall organizational growth.What Will You Do?Strategy Development:Develop and implement a comprehensive ticket sales strategy that aligns with the organization's overall objectives across CPKC Stadium, Riverside Stadium, and Current LandingLead the organization's publicly ticketed events strategy, including but not limited to economic modeling, ticket sales pricing and operations, bid process (if applicable), as well as the contract and negotiation processSales Leadership and Culture: Lead, mentor, and manage the ticket sales and service teams to achieve and exceed sales targets, while developing a high-performance culture based on accountability, teamwork and resultsMember and Client Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service across all touchpoints, creating a seamless experience for all ticket clients. Develop and implement programs to enhance customer loyalty and retentionRevenue Optimization: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as neededInterdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate across departments to create compelling sales campaigns and initiatives, optimize revenue across varying external stakeholders, and align sales strategies with overall business goalsBudget Management: Work closely with Finance to develop and manage the Ticket Sales and Service budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize/optimize return on investment and company resourcesRelationship Cultivation: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to season ticket members and Kansas City Corporate Community at-largeInnovation and Data-Driving Decisions: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies that can enhance production in tickets salesSales Enablement: Identify sales tools and technologies that enable the sales process and drive efficiency and effectivenessWhat Do You Need to Succeed? RequiredA strong, proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growthEffective verbal and written communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listeningProven ability to plan, implement and analyze performance results against objectives and KPIsProven ability to attract new sales and retain existing customersExcellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsStrong strategic planning, analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareProficient with varying ticket systems and CRM SoftwareEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales or related fieldMinimum of 7 years of demonstrated sales leadership experience in ticket sales, sports/entertainment industry or a related industrySpecial Requirements of the Job:Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts), and holidaysAbility to monitor company communications and respond to time-sensitive matters with senior executivesTravel may be requiredWe value diversity and seek world-class employees of all backgrounds.
