VP, Associate Advisor Development
Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 base (DOE), with upside to $150,000 We're hiring a VP, Associate Advisor Development on behalf of our client, a growing, multi-office wealth management firm known for its structured, accountability-driven approach to developing advisor talent. This leader will take ownership of a team of Associate Advisors at different stages of their careers, coaching them through a clear accountability progression, from freeing up their Selling Advisor to eventually bringing in new assets from the firm's existing clients. Why this role?- Lead and coach a team of Associate Advisors deployed across multiple advisor teams, each at a different stage of growth- Build individualized development plans, run 1:1s, and create clear paths toward producing/advisor roles- Coach case design and case prep—including building compelling “case for change” presentations- Partner closely with Selling VPs and the VP of Sales to align coaching with each team's goals- Step into a firm that invests heavily in structured advisor development and internal growth
What you bring: - Series 65 and Life & Health licenses- 3+ years leading W-2 (employee-model) Financial Advisors- Fixed Index Annuity experience- Experience developing a “case for change” - the story that moves a client from their current advisor to a new one- Experience working within advisor teams (Sales Lead / Service Advisor dynamic)
Nice to have: - Experience on a team as both an associate and a sales lead- Familiarity with a two-step sales process- Comfort with MGP Elite, Nitrogen, Black Rock 360, and Schwab as a custodian Sound like you? Let's talk.
