Assistant Media Buyer
Position Overview: The Assistant Media Buyer will support the Investments team on each account from the start of negotiations to the final campaign wrap up. The successful candidate must also be a creative thinker, incorporating the latest media trends and innovations, including streaming video and online video. Candidate should exhibit a can-do attitude to tackle all assignments, exhibit the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, and be a creative problem solver that participates and takes interest in the agency, the industry, and the success of our clients. The Assistant Media Buyer will learn to deal effectively with clients and work closely with our planning group in managing budgets, developing strategies, negotiating media buys, and executing customized enhancements. It is imperative that this candidate follows technology and creative work to stay on top of pertinent information and trends.
Responsibilities: Invoice maintenance, assisting Negotiators, Supervisors & Managers as assigned Entering programming and buys into our system, projecting TV and Radio ratings for future buys Pulling market research and tracking delivery of steaming audio and video investments. Confirming and monitoring media orders with television and digital partners Construct post-buy analyses to determine actual delivery of the schedule. Manage budget summaries, campaign flowcharts, and billing. Create insertion orders, digital campaign detailed summaries. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Qualification -
Required Skills: No agency experience required Ability to work on several projects at once. Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
Desired Skills: Internship or relevant coursework preferred.
