Pay: $23-$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
The Learning Experience: Andover is seeking an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher who loves helping young children become confident, curious, and increasingly independent learners. As a Lead Teacher, you'll take ownership of your classroom while creating engaging experiences that build early academic skills, friendships, creativity, communication, and kindergarten readiness.
Key Responsibilities: Lead daily Preschool classroom routines and learning activities Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum Create engaging experiences supporting literacy, math, language, science, creativity, and social-emotional development Encourage independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships Observe and document children's development Guide and support Assistant Teachers Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements
Qualifications: Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Preschool Lead Teacher Previous professional preschool or early childhood classroom experience required Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for early childhood education and children's development
