Appliance Installer Assistant The Appliance Installer Assistant job is to help deliver, assist with maneuvering appliances for daily installations, and conduct professionalism with our customers. They will have a neat and professional appearance and have a strong desire to perform as a team. Dick Van Dyke Inc. promotes within and will train the right candidate to advance to the next level of installations. Entry level doesn't have to be your final destination. Be a pro! Here are some of the responsibilities of our Residential Home Appliance Installer position: Delivery: Load and unload appliances from box trucks, and deliver items from a warehouse or central store to residential homes Mechanical aptitude: Perform mechanical adjustments on door removals and reinstallation regarding residential doors, screen doors Customer service: Provide excellent customer service and care during delivery and installation Safety: Ensure all lifting is done, report any health, fire, or safety concerns Maintenance: Maintain safe, organized, and clean work areas and work vehicles Skills and qualifications that are required for our Delivery & Installation position include: Pass a background (REQUIRED)Clean driving history Able to obtain a DOT card (DOT Physical Exam) only for advancement Work Saturdays Time management Safety Conscious Technology competence Mechanical skills Ability to safely lift 75 pounds on a repetitive basis Delivery & Installation Competitive benefits include after 90 days: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Free Life Insurance 401K5 days paid time off Flexible Spending Closed Sundays Paid Hourly $17.00 to 18.00 (Based on current credentials & mechanical experience)
