Equipment Technician
Job Overview: The Equipment Technician will be responsible for safely cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment and maintaining appropriate par levels for each department.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Walk and or stand for long periods of time
  • Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff
  • Appropriately clean and disinfect medical equipment using the approved disinfectant
  • Able to read par sheets and inventory levels
  • Adhere to hospital policies and infection control processes
  • Obtain supplies via Stock Acquisition Process
  • Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
  • Operate pushcart for transporting equipment
  • Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
  • Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Stop at risk behavior of others and self
  • Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
  • Perform repetitive tasks
  • Maintain clean work area
  • Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
  • Take direction and respond to supervision
  • Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
  • Fill in during staff shortage
  • Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
  • Use proper personal protective equipment
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand customer service and satisfaction
  • Understand reporting systems, and of the environment

Education and/ or Experience No specific education requirements Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Completed all safety and task training certification Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to read inventory forms Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use Shifts and Compensation Thursday-Monday 7:00am-3:30pm off every Tuesday and Wednesday.$15.00-$16.00 per hour
