Pay: **$28.00 - $34.00 depending on experience **
Hours: ** 2nd shift: 3:45pm - 12:15am, overtime is required **(training will be on 1st shift for few weeks) ** **Location **: Elgin, IL **

Job Description: 2nd Shift Foreman ** We are seeking a **2nd Shift Foreman ** to oversee daily molding operations, support production goals, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities: ** Supervise, coach, and train molding department employees during 2nd shift. Troubleshoot and resolve complex injection molding process and setup issues. Assign operators to production jobs and monitor workflow. Prepare production shift reports and attend shift change meetings. Ensure production goals, quality standards, and customer specifications are met. Adjust processing parameters as needed to optimize production. Coordinate with the maintenance team when equipment requires repair. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Ensure all approved work instructions and quality procedures are followed. Provide leadership that promotes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Administer first aid and coordinate medical attention if workplace injuries occur. Perform mold and equipment maintenance as needed.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.Minimum **5 years of plastic injection molding experience .Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.Strong troubleshooting skills with injection molding processes. Excellent communication and basic math skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and work effectively with a diverse team.Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. **
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in a warm manufacturing environment. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
