Client Advisor / Brand Ambassador · Velasca New York Velasca was born in Milan in 2013 with a simple idea: bring Italian craftsmanship into the present, without intermediaries. Our shoes are made by hand in Montegranaro, in the Marche region. Our fabrics come from historic mills in Biella and beyond. We don't call our stores "shops". We call them botteghe, and we treat them like home. In New York we have two: 250 Elizabeth Street in Nolita and 520 Madison Avenue. We are looking for a Client Advisor to join the team.

The role: Here, selling starts with welcoming people. You will be the person who greets whoever walks through the door and tells the story behind each pair of shoes. Then you help them find what is right for them, and stay in touch long after the first purchase.

What you'll do:

Welcome clients and guide them through the collection with personal, honest advice
Know every model in depth: the leathers, the constructions, the details, and where they come from
Build lasting relationships with clients through follow-ups, appointments and personal outreach
Reach individual and team sales goals together with the City Manager
Keep the bottega in order: visual merchandising, stock and daily operations

Who you are:

You have retail or hospitality experience, ideally in high-end fashion
You love people, notice the details and know when to step back
You care about Made in Italy and the work of the hands behind itYou are fluent in English; Italian or another language is a plus
You are available on weekends, holidays and evenings
You can lift 25–50 lbs

What we offer:

$22–25 per hour depending on experience, plus commission
