Position Overview: We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and support modern enterprise applications throughout the full software development lifecycle. This role will focus heavily on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, with responsibility for developing scalable backend services, REST APIs, and user-facing web applications that integrate with existing enterprise systems. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on technical capabilities with excellent communication and collaboration skills. This is a highly collaborative environment, so the ability to socialize ideas, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners, and work well across teams is just as important as the technical work itself.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain full-stack applications using
  • Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
  • Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and enhance responsive front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Participate throughout the full SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Apply object-oriented design and development principles to build maintainable and reusable software.
  • Analyze existing applications and code to identify technical issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Integrate new applications and services with existing enterprise systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following established engineering standards and best practices.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and other quality assurance activities.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support when needed.
  • Improve application performance, reliability, usability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and other technical teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Evaluate technologies and development approaches that can improve application functionality and engineering practices.
  • Maintain compliance with established software development, security, and coding standards.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Professional software development experience using Java. Hands-on experience developing applications and services with Spring Boot. Experience building modern web applications using Angular and TypeScript. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and application architecture. Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs. Experience with automated testing, debugging, code reviews, and software quality practices. Ability to analyze existing applications and troubleshoot complex technical issues. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional software development environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale applications or distributed systems. Previous experience within the financial services industry. Familiarity with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices. Experience working with relational databases and SQL. Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance optimization.
