About the role

We are seeking an Enrollment Advisor to help employees understand and navigate their employer-sponsored benefits. This role focuses primarily on one-on-one benefits enrollment appointments, while also supporting employees with benefit-related questions and member support. Rewards Annual salary, based on experience and licensure Full-time, W-2 position Fully remote Medical, dental, and vision benefits Retirement benefits with a 5% 401(k) match Paid time off and company-observed holidays Company-sponsored and paid insurance licensing Occasional travel for on-site enrollments with expenses covered No commission structure Requirements 2+ years of customer service, call center, benefits, insurance, sales, or comparable phone-based experience Confident and professional phone presence Working knowledge of health insurance fundamentals, including premiums, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, and provider networks Comfortable learning and navigating multiple technology platforms Willingness to obtain a Life & Health insurance license if not already licensed Reliable, quiet remote work environment Comfortable learning and positioning voluntary benefit products Active Life & Health insurance license preferred Benefits enrollment or ICHRA experience preferred Spanish or another second language preferred Sales experience preferred
Responsibilities: Conduct scheduled 20- and 30-minute enrollment appointments with employees Educate employees on medical, ICHRA, voluntary, dental, and vision benefits Ask questions to understand employees' healthcare needs, prescriptions, dependents, providers, and priorities Guide employees toward informed benefit decisions Enter benefit elections accurately into applicable platforms Follow all required enrollment and compliance procedures Send same-day confirmation emails and benefit statements Schedule follow-up appointments when needed Educate and present voluntary benefit options Resolve member support tickets and benefit-related questions Research carrier processes and escalate issues when appropriate Maintain accurate ticket information and due dates Support occasional on-site enrollment events Emerge is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
