About the role
GATORONE Guest Service AssociateGuest service responsibilities include:Answer general questions about GATORONE use, account balances, and transaction activity.Assist at University functions and events (i.e. Preview Days, Move-In, Tabling, etc.).Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, preparing mailings, making on-campus deliveries walking or in State Vehicle, posting flyers, or assisting technical staff.Serve as a positive host by welcoming guests approaching or passing by the GATORONE office.Provide accurate information as requested by customers at the desk or over the phone.Research and have knowledge of a variety of sources of University and community information.ID production responsibilities include:Create and/or replace GATORONE cards, ID badges/Overlays, and Novelty Cards while verifying ID's through ID systems.Mobile ID SupportAssist students, faculty, and staff with provisioning mobile IDs (e.g., adding credentials to digital wallets), troubleshooting activation issues, and ensuring successful access across supported devices.Provide front-line support for mobile credential issues, including device compatibility, NFC access problems, and lost/stolen/new devices while delivering a high level of customer service.Other responsibilities include:Report notable activities, problems, questions, etc. to the appropriate individuals.Perform end-of-day audits when needed.Process credit card payments.Expected Salary: $14.00 hourly.Required Qualifications:Flexibility to work at least 2 hours in the mornings (between 8am-12pm) on Tuesdays and Thursdays is preferred.Valid Florida Driver License.Preferred:Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and problem-solving/conflict resolution skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Reliable, responsible, professional in appearance and able to work under pressure.Ability to organize and prioritize with a high attention to detail and confidentiality.Ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in data entry, typing skills, and Microsoft Office products with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.The ability to work independently, identify resources and make independent decisions.Special Instructions to Applicants: Application must be submitted by 11:55 p.m. (ET) of the posting end date.Health Assessment Required: No
