About the role
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in health education, public health, workplace wellness, or a closely related field.
- Two to five years of professional experience in health promotion, workplace wellness, public health, employee well-being, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, promoting, or evaluating health and wellness programs.
- Knowledge of current and emerging wellness programs, vendors, tools, resources, and industry practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizations.
- Strong public speaking, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences and personalities.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Florida on a weekly basis, including frequent overnight travel.
- Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred.
- A postgraduate degree in public health, Certified Health Education Specialist credential, or a comparable professional certification is preferred but not required.
