Role Description: The International Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for coordinating international shipments, including booking freight, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements. The coordinator will monitor shipment status, resolve delays or issues, and communicate proactively with customers, carriers, and internal teams to provide accurate updates. Daily tasks include managing inventory and order flow, maintaining data accuracy in logistics systems, and supporting continuous improvement in supply chain processes. The role also involves collaborating with sales and operations to meet service-level expectations and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications: Strong Analytical Skills to interpret shipment data, identify trends, and solve logistics and supply chain issues. Excellent Communication abilities to interact clearly with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders. Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, handle escalations professionally, and maintain long-term client relationships. Inventory Management experience to track stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and support accurate order fulfillment. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles, including international trade, transportation modes, and customs regulations. Prior experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or import/export operations is strongly preferred. Proficiency with logistics software, ERP systems, and common office tools (e.g., Magaya, Cargo Wise, Excel, Word, email platforms).Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus. Conversational or fluent Spanish or other languages is beneficial for working with international customers and partners.
