Pay Rate: $60.20 - $64.41 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)
Work Model: 100% onsite – Phoenix, AZ 85034
Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered Summary of the Role: BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer to join our client’s site in Phoenix, Arizona. This role will support the architecture, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC programs and control systems for new and existing equipment. The position will also provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Summary of
Duties and Responsibilities: Architect, develop, and test well-structured PLC programs for new and existing equipment using established best practices and guidelines. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and learning opportunities for junior engineers. Define control system requirements and develop detailed functional specifications. Maintain and modify existing LabVIEW systems to meet evolving customer needs. Lead the implementation and testing of new systems, including troubleshooting code and electrical and mechanical issues while working alongside internal teams.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. At least 6 years of PLC programming experience across multiple hardware platforms. Ability to write code using an object-oriented approach with function blocks or add-on instructions. Experience architecting systems and writing code from scratch. Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical control systems. At least 6 years of experience with LabVIEW, Veri Stand, Python, and. NET.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Emerson, Allen-Bradley, and Phoenix Contact hardware platforms. A work ethic that places safety and data quality as the highest priorities. Knowledge of software configuration tools such as Git or Teamcenter. Experience using SQL to structure and query databases. Good oral and written communication skills when working with customers. Proven ability to work with minimal direction in a cross-functional team environment. Willingness to respond quickly with quality solutions in support of customers. Experience with common test equipment such as DAQs, sensors, oscilloscopes, multimeters, pressure scanners, and DEWESoft.
