Customer Support Representative Arlington, TX | Temp-to-Perm Position Details Are you an experienced customer service professional who enjoys solving problems, managing customer relationships, and keeping orders moving smoothly? Our client, an established wholesale seasonal décor and gift company, is seeking a Customer Support Representative to join its Arlington, TX team. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering responsive, professional customer service. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, assisting with orders, product availability, pricing, shipping, returns, damage claims, and account-related questions.
What You'll Do:
- Respond to incoming customer calls regarding products, pricing, availability, shipping dates, orders, returns, damages, and general account questions
- Provide prompt and professional responses to customer emails and web inquiries
- Accurately enter and process customer orders
- Coordinate product returns and damage claims
- Make outbound calls regarding orders, account needs, and follow-up items
- Research customer questions and partner with internal departments to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate and current customer account information
- Document of customer interactions, updates, and resolutions
- Support the company's Dallas showroom order desk during scheduled market events
- Build positive customer relationships through professional, service-focused communication
What We're Looking For:
- 2-5 years of customer service experience, preferably in customer support, a call center, order management, or a similar environment
- Experience supporting customers in retail, wholesale, distribution, or consumer products preferred
- Home décor, seasonal products, gifts, furnishings, or related industry experience is a plus
- Experience with order entry, returns, damage claims, shipping questions, or product inquiries strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Strong problem-solving and customer resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Ability to travel locally to the Dallas showroom during scheduled market events
- EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
