About the role
We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven leader to own analytics and measurement across retail media and marketplace programs. This is an opportunity to turn complex performance data into clear direction that drives smarter investment decisions, stronger product content, and profitable growth across Amazon, Walmart, and Target. The ideal candidate brings deep marketplace expertise, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to translate data into concise, executive-ready recommendations. You’ll partner closely with media, marketplace operations, content, and merchandising teams to identify growth opportunities and solve performance challenges at scale.
What You’ll Do:
Lead end-to-end analytics for paid media and organic marketplace performance across Amazon, Walmart, and Target. Build recurring dashboards and reporting across ROAS, TACOS/ACOS, conversion, share of voice, new-to-brand, contribution margin, and other core KPIs. Develop SKU- and ASIN-level scorecards connecting media spend, organic rank, content health, inventory, sales, and profitability. Design and analyze test-and-learn programs, including incrementality studies, holdouts, and geo tests. Evaluate how product detail page improvements, including titles, imagery, A+ content, video, and ratings, impact visibility, click-through rate, and conversion. Identify early warning signals such as rising TACOS, declining conversion, lost buy box, or inventory constraints, and help drive action quickly. Deliver insights on demand velocity, seasonality, pricing, promotions, and assortment to support catalog and inventory decisions. Lead the integration and governance of marketplace data sources, including Amazon Brand Analytics, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Walmart Luminate, and related tools. Standardize KPI definitions, reporting frameworks, and performance methodologies across internal and external partners. Present complex findings in a clear, actionable way that influences strategy and budget allocation.
What You’ll Bring:
5+ years of experience in retail media, marketplace, or eCommerce analytics. Hands-on experience with Amazon and Walmart marketplaces; Target experience is strongly preferred. A track record of turning marketplace and media data into actions that improve ROAS, profitability, and category growth. Strong experience with Amazon Brand Analytics, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Walmart Luminate, or comparable analytics platforms. Advanced Excel skills and experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools. Experience designing, executing, and interpreting experiments and incrementality analyses. Strong analytical storytelling skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; equivalent experience is also welcome.
Preferred Experience:
Pricing, promotion, assortment, or packaging analytics within eCommerce or omnichannel retail. SQL or similar query-language experience working with large datasets. Collaboration with agencies or external partners on reporting, KPIs, and performance benchmarks. Familiarity with PIM/DAM systems and marketplace content health scoring. This role is a strong fit for a marketplace analytics leader who enjoys building better systems, uncovering growth levers, and driving measurable performance across retail partners.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
