Residential Construction Estimator We are seeking a Residential Construction Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for medium-density and volume residential projects. The role will handle quantity take-offs, supplier and subcontractor pricing, purchase orders, variations, and estimating documentation while working closely with drafting, development, and construction teams.
Responsibilities include: Complete accurate quantity take-offs from architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Prepare estimates covering labour, materials, subcontractors, and construction costs. Review plans and documentation to identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and cost risks. Manage supplier and subcontractor quotations, including requests, reviews, follow-ups, and pricing clarification. Maintain accurate estimating data, rates, quotations, and project records using Databuild. Prepare and process purchase orders, variations, and estimate revisions in line with approved project requirements. Collaborate with drafting, development, construction, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and well-documented estimates.
