About the role
Position Summary:
Can Play is seeking an energetic and mission-driven leader to help expand adapted recreation opportunities nationwide. This position is responsible for growing Can Play's licensing initiative, securing sponsorship support, developing new program opportunities, and strengthening partnerships that increase access to play for children of all abilities. Licensing Growth Identify and cultivate new licensing opportunities nationwide Conduct outreach to parks and recreation departments, YMCAs, schools, and community organizations Manage licensing sales pipeline and follow-up process Lead virtual and in-person presentations Support onboarding of new license partners Sponsorship Development Identify sponsorship prospects Develop sponsorship proposals and presentations Build and maintain corporate partnerships Manage sponsor stewardship and renewals Assist with fundraising initiatives Marketing & Communications Assist with social media content and storytelling Develop outreach campaigns Create partner success stories Support conference presentations and promotional efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Recreation, Nonprofit Management, or related field.5+ years of experience in business development, partnership development, sales, fundraising, or nonprofit growth.
Experience developing marketing and outreach campaigns.
Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
Experience using CRM systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel nationally for conferences and meetings.
