Senior Backend Engineer | FinTech Data Platform We're partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing technology business that is transforming how financial data is extracted, structured, and delivered through cutting-edge AI, NLP, and machine learning technologies. We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a high-calibre engineering team building the infrastructure behind a sophisticated financial data platform. You'll play a key role in developing scalable APIs, expanding microservices architecture, and helping bring valuable structured data products to market.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong Python development experience, particularly with FastAPIExcellent knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIsExperience working with databases and data warehousesCI/CD, DevOps and software engineering best practices
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute ideas
- Highly advantageous:
- Experience within FinTech, payments, financial services, or startup environmentsAWS experience
- Knowledge of React, Strawberry GraphQL, or Post
- GraphileExperience working with financial data products
