About the role

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide guests with information and assistance, utilizing accurate knowledge of the Orlando International and Orlando Executive Airports and the Central Florida region. Problem-solve and assess situations that impact airport customer experience. Greeting all guests in a friendly and professional manner, and assist guests with special needs. Follow safety regulations. Log all inquiries and requested data on a day-to-day basis using the assigned iPad.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate for this volunteer position should possess the following qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age. Physically able to stand or use a mobility device during a four-hour shift. Able to pass an airport background check and qualify for a badge. Able to communicate effectively in English. Comply with all airport regulations, assigned volunteer duties, requests and directions from staff. Friendly, outgoing, and able to approach customers and initiate conversations to offer assistance. Be flexible and able to adapt to fluctuating passenger demands and airport changes. COMMITMENT:Attend a 4-hour in-person orientation, including a walking tour. Navigators must to commit to a minimum of one 4- hour shift per week. Navigators must make at least a six-month commitment to the program (excludes the training period)
