Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time Developmental Adapted Physical Education Teacher in the Brooklyn Park, MN area. What You'll Do: Develop individualized adapted physical education (APE) goals aligned with students' IEPsPlan and teach modified physical activities that improve motor skills, coordination, strength, and fitness Adapt equipment, games, and instruction so students can safely and successfully participate Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support students' physical development and inclusion Monitor student progress, documents outcomes, and adjust instruction to help students meet their goals
What We're Looking For: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Education or Related Field Active Minnesota DAPE license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4)Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred 3 references/letters of recommendation required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
