About the role

Customer Success Manager Vortexa is a fast-growing international technology business founded to solve the immense information gap that exists in the energy industry. By using massive amounts of new satellite data and pioneering work in artificial intelligence, Vortexa creates an unprecedented view on the global seaborne energy flows in real-time, bringing transparency and efficiency to the energy markets and society as a whole. Vortexa is hiring a Customer Success Manager to join our US account teams in Houston or New York. You'll make sure every user at our clients, current and future, gets real value from Vortexa. You'll own adoption and value for your book of business, working with each Account Manager as one account team. You'll know the users inside every account: who they are, how they work, how they use Vortexa across platforms, API and MCP, and where new needs and teams are emerging. Your job is to enable users and to be the account team's best source of insight into how clients' needs are changing. The Account Manager, with whom you'll partner, turns that insight into commercial action. This is a hands-on role for someone commercially curious, credible with end-users, and comfortable building process where none exists yet.
What you'll do: Drive onboarding and time to value. Run onboarding plans for new clients and new users, covering both UI analytics platform and API/integration workflows. Know every user. Build and maintain a user and buying-center map for each account: who uses Vortexa, how, how often, and which desks, teams or regions don't use it yet. Deepen adoption. Turn client goals and workflows (trading, chartering, analytics, quant) into success plans and use cases, and review them with champions every quarter. Protect retention. Monitor account health and usage, act early on risk, and give the Account Manager a usage and value case at least 120 days before each renewal.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
