SSM Health and SLUCare are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neuromuscular Neurologist to join our nationally recognized team in St. Louis, Missouri. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside two seasoned providers within the only Nationally Certified ALS Clinic in the state. Multidisciplinary clinic model where ALS patients receive comprehensive care from a team including a dietician, speech therapist, PT/OT, social worker, and the clinic director all in a single 4-hour visit
Pediatric collaboration featuring a monthly rotation at Cardinal Glennon for pediatric EMG and muscle biopsy
Neuromuscular APP joining post-Labor Day
Responsibilities:
Provide neuromuscular patient care, nerve conduction studies, and EMGs
Work 1 dedicated day per week in the EMG lab under the direction of the director
Participate in a monthly rotation at Cardinal Glennon for pediatric EMG and muscle biopsy
Shift & Schedule
Flexible schedule with a balanced mix of clinic, procedures, and call
Call responsibility of 8-10 weeks per year in 1-week stints, with overnight call taken from home
