About the role
- Hold a doctoral degree (DNP, EdD, PhD) in nursing or education
- Must be eligible for a NH nursing license
- Have 2-4 years of nursing education experience.
- Ability to work effectively with a culturally and academically diverse student population
- Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, external constituents)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven dedication to student learning
- Required Licenses and Certifications
- Must be eligible for NH RN License
- Current BLSMust be able to provide health documentation as required by clinical agency agreements
- Experience working with college-age and non-traditional students.
- Skill in working with culturally diverse constituencies in the academic environment.
- Ability to cultivate external relationships with community leaders, institutions, and stakeholders.
- Experience teaching via online learning management systems
- Demonstrated ability to work with faculty, staff, and students as well as community groups of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation, disability and ethnic backgrounds
