Sales Manager - Aluminum
Position Overview:
We are seeking an internal Sales Manager, ideally at a metal company, who has 5+yrs managing accounts in the aluminum industry. Although this is not an active prospecting role, we are looking for someone who is exceptional at managing existing accounts, maintaining and creating relationships, as well as leading a team of five sales professionals.
Qualifications:
5+ years internal sales management experience at an aluminum metal company Proven experience in a Sales Manager role, leading teams of senior, knowledgeable sales people We need someone who is focused on aluminum, who is familiar with the market, and ideally has contacts on the west coast, the Pacific time zone (CA or NV preferred)Some experience in exports It is a plus if you have: Exposure to export markets and international trade Proficiency in Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi or other South Asian languages
Key Responsibilities:
Internal sales management, maintaining existing accounts, building relationships Lead a team of 5 sales people Build good relationships with Buyers, Procurement and Directors Gather requests from customers, get the best quotes, response times Prepare quotes Interact with international teams, as well as onsite teams in the USBenefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance 401K matching Tuition Reimbursement Paid Time Off
