If so, this job may be for you!Ability to read and understand plansProficient with Microsoft Office, RFMS or other estimating softwareStrong technical knowledge of flooringResponsibilities of the Design Sales Associate include:Sell flooring products and installation servicesAssist customers with flooring selections by explaining product features, benefits, and warrantiesProvide exceptional customer service throughout the entire project lifecycleMeet with clients in the showroom and at job sites as neededCoordinate job measures and estimatesPrepare proposals, quotes, and sales ordersWork closely with administrative staff to coordinate work orders, scheduling, and project timelinesMonitor projects through completion and follow up with customers after installationVisit job sites to help ensure installations run smoothlyCoordinate with accounting to ensure timely collection of paymentsBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsNetwork and collaborate effectively with team members across departmentsUtilize company software and databases to research product availability and process ordersRespond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concernsMeet or exceed established sales goals and performance metricsStay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and new flooring solutionsQualifications:Ability to read and understand blueprints and project plansProficiency with Microsoft Office and RFMS or similar estimating softwareStrong technical knowledge of flooring products and installation methodsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent customer service and relationship-building abilitiesGood organizational and project coordination skillsStrong computer skills and attention to detailGood color, design, and product coordination senseAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsPrevious flooring industry experienceProject management experienceSales experience in flooring, interiors, construction, or related industriesWhy Join Floors Etc.?Competitive compensation with commission opportunitiesCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive team environmentExposure to high-end residential and commercial projectsOpportunity to work with industry-leading products and professionals
