About the role

New York City Health + Hospitals Elmhurst, affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is seeking a full-time Physiatrist to join the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. The incoming clinician will manage outpatient rehabilitation clinics and provide inpatient and adult bedside consultations. This role is situated within a premier academic medical system that is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey, and Long Island. Responsibilities:

Managing outpatient rehabilitation clinics
Performing inpatient consultations and adult bedside consultations as needed
Providing weekend coverage for inpatient consultations one Saturday per month for 4-6 hours
CompensationCompensation range from $241,000 to $246,000 Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need

Requirements:

MD degree
Board eligible or certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
Fellowship training in Sports Medicine is a plus
