Shift:
1st, 2nd, & 3rd ShiftShift Differential: 2nd & 3rd Shift - 10%Entry–Mid (2+ years CNC machining)---This role exists to support ongoing production demand and growth at Viant Medical's Wheeling, IL facility. CNC Machinists play a critical role in producing high-precision medical device components, where consistency, accuracy, and quality directly impact patient outcomes.---Set up, operate, and adjust CNC milles, lathes, or swiss machines for precision production Load parts, monitor cycles, and make offset adjustments as needed Inspect parts using blueprints, gauges, and precision measuring tools Hold tight tolerances required for medical device manufacturing Troubleshoot machining issues and correct problems to maintain quality Deburr, buff, and finish parts to print specifications Follow safety, quality, and lean manufacturing standards---Machines, Controls & Inspection You'll work with CNC equipment and inspection tools such as: Star and Citizen CNC Swiss Machines Multi-axis CNC mills and lathes Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges, blueprint & GD&T interpretation---Materials You'll Work With Medical-grade metals and components Small, tight-tolerance precision parts---2+ years of CNC machining experience~ High school diploma or equivalent~ Experience inspecting parts and maintaining dimensional accuracy~ Experience in medical device manufacturing Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices Experience with both CNC mills and lathes---Why Machinists Like Working Here Machinists choose Viant Medical because xevrcyc of: Day-one benefits and attendance bonuses Opportunities to grow within a global medical device company Shift Premium: +10% for 2nd shift or 3rd shift Medical, dental, and vision insurance~ Company-paid life & disability coverage~Perfect Attendance Bonus – up to $800 annually~ Career growth and advancement opportunities1st Shift: 6 am - 2 pm Monday - Friday~2nd Shift: 2 pm - 10 pm Monday - Friday~3rd Shift: 10 pm - 6 am Monday - Saturday~ Overtime as needed---Interested machinists can apply directly through hireCNC.
