Experienced Drain, Sewer, and CIPP Rehabilitation Service Tech NeededWe're Fathom Plumbing Solutions, and we're seeking an experienced trade professional to complete the high-quality, specialty work we're known for. While we're based in Ann Arbor, MI, we're extending our net to invite skilled technicians across the state (and beyond) to join us! Qualifications:
  • DRAIN, SEWER, AND CIPP REHABILITATION SERVICE TECH QUALIFICATIONS:4+ years of experience leading projects or working independently 2+ years of hands-on drain and sewer experience, including direct CIPP installations
  • Experience using jetting equipment, cable machines, and CCTV inspection/reporting systems
  • Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate a truck and trailer
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, lift 75+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to read work orders and project drawings
  • Basic math and measurement skills
Our ideal Drain, Sewer, and CIPP Rehabilitation Service Tech has completed an apprenticeship (or is enrolled in one), has earned a journeyman or master plumber license, or has OSHA 10/30 and NASSCO PACP/MACP certifications. Training in confined space entry would be helpful. Experience in residential, multi-unit, and/or light commercial sewer applications would be a plus. Familiarity with pipeline condition coding and CIPP equipment (e.g., Perma-Liner, LMK, NuFlow) would also be preferred.
Your Role: You'll usually work Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with no on-call required! There may be extended hours on lining days, and there is potential to maybe dispatch from home. Our Drain, Sewer, and CIPP Rehabilitation Service Techs complete top-notch cleaning, installation, repair, and replacement services for our clients' complex plumbing systems. Every job will bring something different as you're cleaning/jetting sewer lines, installing CIPP liners, managing cure cycles, and inspecting lines with CCTV cameras. You'll diagnose the source of problems and create an action plan for rehabilitation. Attentively, you'll reinstate services, complete post-installation inspections, and sometimes lead a small team in repairing and replacing systems/components as needed.
