About the role

We are hiring a skilled Painter to join our team in Akron Canada As a Painter you will be responsible for applying paint varnishes and other finishes to various surfaces You will also be required to prepare surfaces mix paints and maintain painting equipment
Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint and filling holes or cracks Mix paints and match colors to achieve desired shade Apply paint or other finishes using brushes rollers or sprayers Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas Use sandpaper and other tools to smooth and prepare surfaces for painting Clean and maintain painting equipment after each use Follow safety guidelines and wear protective gear when necessary
Requirements: Proven experience as a painter or similar role Ability to mix colors to achieve desired shades Familiarity with different types of painting equipment and tools Attention to detail and ability to work independently Physical stamina and strength for prolonged periods of standing bending and lifting heavy objects Good communication skills in English French is an asset Canadian citizenship or permanent residency preferred Salary The salary for this position is $900 per week
