About the role
--Position: Manufacturing Machine Operator --Company: Textile Manufacturing Company --Location: Gastonia, NC --Responsibilities: This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable and growing company! The Lamination Machine Operator will operate and monitor lamination equipment used in the textile finishing process. This person will set up machines, load and unload fabric rolls, monitor machine settings and fabric quality, make adjustments as needed, inspect finished material for defects, and troubleshoot basic operating issues. The role will also assist with machine changeovers, startups, shutdowns, cleaning, and routine maintenance while working closely with the production and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly. -Requirements: -Must have 2+ years experience in manufacturing machine operation preferably in textile space. -Must be able to read a tape measure to a 16th of an inch. -Must be mechanically inclined and have strong attention to detail. -Must be able to do machine changeovers, startups, and shutdowns independently.
