Job description:
CP Brands Group is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Manager to join our team. Must have childrenswear experience. This is a full-time position based in our NY Office. This role will report into the VP of Production and Sourcing
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage a team of 8 individuals – including Colorist Team, Technical Design Team, and Production Assistants. Oversee entire company’s production across multiple factories, including the management of 10k skus placed annually. Create and maintain production schedules to ensure all factories are on track for an on-time delivery. Resolve any production-related issues in a timely and professional manner – collaborate with sales and design teams when necessary Proactively handle delivery extensions and shortages Negotiate with factories to hit better pricing, works with director of sourcing to cross-source items and secure best prices Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers Ensure that all necessary audits are up to date, and when expired, is obtained in a timely manner Have a strong understanding of cost implications associated with design changes and collaborate with the creative teams to ensure that the product still meets their vision. Monitor production quality by partnering with QC team stationed in China and ensure that all requirements are met. Manage and track all issues from each factory and lead conversations with management teams on the production side. Track and Manage WIP report from the factory
Requirements and Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in production management Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects efficiently High proficiency in Excel
