About the role
What does it take to build a humane animal welfare system in the middle of civil war? We are not just running a program. We are building one. Volunteer Board Member: Marketing and Events Revenue Strategist Let's Save The Strays International | Remote | 2 to 4 hours per week Let's Save The Strays International is building Myanmar's first sustained, locally led solution to the rabies and street dog overpopulation crisis. We have treated more than 30,000 animals and operate ongoing monthly TNVR, Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return, programs in Mandalay and Yangon, reaching 200 to 250 dogs per city per month. Our veterinary teams are fully Burmese led, and approximately 95 percent of every dollar raised goes directly to programs. We are the only nonprofit operating sustained, high volume TNVR at this scale in Myanmar, and the only organization pairing it with a structured education initiative. This work goes far beyond saving dogs. It is about shifting how a country understands and treats its animals. It is about advancing One Health in a place where veterinary infrastructure barely exists. It is about reducing rabies transmission, strengthening communities, and creating safer environments for children. In the middle of prolonged crisis, humane care provides real psychological lift and stability. As we grow, we need sharper positioning, stronger events, and clearer storytelling. We are seeking a Board-level Marketing & Events Revenue Strategist to lead that effort. What You Will OwnThis role leads all event-based revenue and organizational marketing strategy. Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
