About the role

Optomi, in partnership with an independent research institute, is looking for a Material Distribution Coordinator responsible for receiving and processing mail, and providing daily campus and off-campus pick-up and delivery of mail and packages. Responsibilities of the right candidate: Receive and process incoming mail/packages (USPS + carriers like Fed Ex/UPS).Deliver and pick up mail/packages on daily routes (internal deliveries).Handle exceptions: undeliverable/mystery packages, research addressee, contact shipper/teams, resolve and deliver. Customer service: respond to inquiries via phone/email/Zoom/in-person Light data entry / tracking. Maintain the receiving area (clean/organized), order shipping supplies, help with pallets/inbound shipments as needed. Apply today if your background includes: Strong customer service.
