Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse, unloading, moving, or freight handling experience preferred
  • Able to lift and carry heavy and bulky items, including furniture, regularly (up to 50 lbs on your own, and heavier items with a team)
  • Able to stand, bend, lift, and work on your feet for your full shift
  • Reliable, on time, and able to work at a steady pace to meet production goals
  • Team player who follows safety procedures
  • Must be at least 18 years old
Responsibilities:
  • Unload furniture and freight from trailers and containers by hand
  • Sort, stage, and move product to the correct areas of the warehouse
  • Handle furniture with care to prevent damage
  • Meet daily productivity goals to earn production pay
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow direction from the Warehouse Supervisor and site leadership
  • Help with loading if the site expands to a second shift
