Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong electrical skills to support production operations in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment. This position follows a rotating 12‐hour shift schedule and requires hands‐on troubleshooting, equipment repair, and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Responsibilities:
Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on production machinery and facility equipment. Diagnose issues with motors, control panels, sensors, wiring, and electrical components. Conduct mechanical repairs including belts, bearings, gears, and drive systems. Perform routine and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Equipment Monitoring & Repair Respond to machine breakdowns quickly and effectively. Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential failures or safety concerns. Calibrate, test, and verify proper operation of electrical systems and controls. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications. Safety & Compliance Follow all electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and company safety policies. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and documentation. Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety and environmental standards. Production Support Collaborate with machine operators and supervisors to resolve equipment issues. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance reliability and efficiency. Assist with basic facility maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
Electrical experience required (industrial or manufacturing environment preferred).Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and manuals. Experience with industrial machinery, automation, or production equipment. Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
