About the role
- Required Qualifications
- Current Idaho Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License; or current PLS licensure in another state with the ability to obtain Idaho licensure within 6 months.8-15+ years of survey experience preferred, including demonstrated experience managing survey projects and coordinating with project teams.
- Knowledge and ability to utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
- Experience effectively managing multiple, complex survey projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Good organizational skills and demonstrated ability to mentor, coordinate, and support survey team members.
- Proven client interfacing skills and interest in developing long-term client relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with engineers, project managers, field crews, agencies, and clients.
- Willing to work in inclement weather and all types of terrain, when field work is required.
- Additional beneficial experience includes:
- Operating drones for topographic surveying and processing the resulting data
- Operating and processing LiDAR scanning equipment and data
- Geodetic control networks
- Bathymetric surveying, transportation/right-of-way surveys, and municipal infrastructure projects
