About the role

We are seeking a dedicated After School Mentor to provide leadership and implement a safe and age-appropriate after-school program for school-age youth. This is a seasonal position that will begin September 3, 2025.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with the After School Program Coordinator to design and enhance after-school programs. Monitor children's attendance and academic progress to ensure their development. Assist team members in creating a secure, efficient, and productive environment for both staff and children. Generate incident reports as necessary to maintain program safety and integrity. Develop and lead high-quality academic and enrichment clubs that engage students. Motivate children to set and achieve their academic and personal goals. Engage with families, colleagues, and staff to foster development and maintain consistent communication. Rate: $17.00 per hour
Requirements: At least 18 years old.
2 or more years of experience in school age programs or comparable experience. Reliable transportation to and from work. This position requires up to date physical and immunization records. CPR and/or First Aid Certification, preferred.
